I was pretty let down by Grancrest. There just enough moments keep me interested as it went along, but the end story just went too far too fast. Like, they would just skip entire battles or previously introduced plot pieces and characters just to keep moving. Kind of opposite to what Mr. Otaku was saying, I would have rather seen this in two season or maybe even three over more episodes so they could better explain and show the things that were happening.

It did go really fast! There was so much going on and not a lot of explanation of things, but it kind of boils down to perspective — for me at least. We’ve been watching anime that was really slow and drawn out and this was the complete opposite of it. It was a much needed change of pace for us and when you compare it to the stuff we watched recently, it’s leaps and bounds better. It would have been way better, longer, over more seasons, but I prefer the ending be rushed than not have one at all.
